What can I say, Northridge Sparkle Campaign is on a roll. We've been in the Daily News, written up in the North Valley Chamber of Commerce Newsletter, promoted in Bruce Russell's Neighborhood News, and asked to do interviews by several radio stations, and now we've been interviewed by a student at CSUN, and written up in Daily Sundial, an Independent Student Newspaper.
Check out this Youtube to see what we're doing on Reseda Blvd., and help us support this fantastic revitalization project:

LUM-KA-NAAD THAI RESTAURANT'S THANK YOU AND REVITALIZATION MEETING
On Thursday, January 12, 2012, an event was organized by Alex Sonbalee, owner/operator of Lum-Ka-Naad Thai Restaurant (8910 Reseda Blvd., Northridge 91324) to thank the community for their support in getting his bar license and to discuss the revitalization of the “Old Northridge Business District.”
To celebrate, Alex served up an incredible menu with Asian cocktails, and new dishes. The entire community and Valley officials were present.Andrea Alvarado (MC) introduced key speakers in San Fernando Valley’s organizations, and Thai diplomats who are such an inspiring group.
After Alex greeted his guests and thanked all those who were instrumental in making him feel part of an historic community, the main topic was how everyone can work together to make Northridge “the” place to go for entertainment, shopping and dining.A revitalization program is currently being established, and a renaming of the community to “Northridge Village” is already in the works.
We are fortunate to have a large number of outstanding parks in the San Fernando Valley. There is a list of every park in District CD 12 including its location, features and amenities. It's available at http://cd12.org. Click on "The Parks of CD 12."
The parks offer everything from a professional level skateboarding park to three full-sized municipal golf courses, to fishing, rock climbing, hiking and horseback riding. There's even an off-leash dog park.
